Doesn't it hurt to restore your foreskin? How long does the restoration process take? I want to start restoring, where do I start? Will restoring improve my sex life? What does a restored penis look like? Will it look the same as an intact penis? How do I find the Point of Equilibrium (POE)? What is the best way to restore? What can I gain from restoring?
Doesn't it hurt to restore your foreskin? Restoring should never hurt. If it does start to hurt, you should find out the cause. Usually, if you readjust your tugging device, or lower the amount of tension will stop the discomfort.
How long does the restoration process take? The amount of time it takes to restore will vary from man to man. There
are many factors like how much skin was left after circumcision, age, skin
type and the how well your body responses to restoring. What also must be
included is what your idea of being fully restored is. Some men feel that
have coverage when flaccid is just fine. Some men what enough coverage so
they can remain covered when fully erect. Another important factor is
keeping up with a regimen of restoring. I would have to say that the
average time is between 2 to 5 years. Some men do it in less than 2 years,
and some men have been restoring for more than 5 years. I want to start restoring, where do I start? Come to a meeting and our members can help get you started. Learning
from our experienced members will help you avoid the trail and errors and
frustration from restoring. Having a support group is the best way to
successfully restore. If you can't make it to a meeting, please send us an
email and we try to help out. Will restoring improve my sex life? The results will vary from man to man but most men report a dramatic increase in sensitivity and sexual satisfaction. Their spouse or partners and find improvements in their sex lives as well.
When you have achieved consistent coverage over your glans you will begin to experience heightened sensitivity from the dekeranlization process.
What does a restored penis look like? Will it look the same as an intact penis? Foreskin restoration returns the penis to a near normal appearance. It
is difficult to distinguish a restored foreskin from a natural foreskin by
its appearance How do I find the Point of Equilibrium (POE)? The Point Of Equilibrium (POE) is a point on your shaft skin that when
pulled forward puts equal tension on both the inner and outer skin. It
usually falls somewhere about or forward of the circumcision scar when you
first begin restoration then gradually moves back toward the belly. At one
time it was considered of primary importance in determining where to place
the center line of a T-Tape. With the introduction of the Pill Tube method
and later the tapeless tuggers, it became apparent that the POE was
significantly less important than originaly believed. It still is a good
idea to try and get the t-tape placed close to the POE but the fine
accuracy once prescribed is no longer considered necessary. In fact, some
of us once experimented with deliberatly taping off the POE to see if we
could replicate one man's experience that doing so would jump start skin
growth. Too few men participated in the trial for the results to be
meaningful, but if you decide to use t-tapes, keep the concept in mind as
a possible way to get off a plateau. What is the best way to restore? Come to a meeting and our members can help get you started. Learning
from our experienced members will help you avoid the trail and errors and
frustration from restoring. Having a support group is the best way to
successfully restore. If you can't make it to a meeting, please send us an
email and we try to help out. What can I gain from restoring? Unfortunately, it isn't possible to to restore your lost natural
foreskin. A foreskin contains specialized nerve endings, muscles and blood
vessels that cannot be recreated. Restoring cannot bring back the
ridged bank neurologic structure that was removed by circumcision.
It also cannot restore the frenulum. The idea of restoring your foreskin can seem really strange at first.
As you learn about what circumcision has taken from you will recognize the
value of restoration. Most men report an increase in sexual and
psychological rewards from restoring. You are getting back what someone
else has wrongly taken from you. Using the manual restore method will cost you nothing. Some of the methods listed on this site use surgical tapes, or devices which will cost some money. There are many methods to restoring, and you should be able to find one that fits in with your budget.
Restoring a foreskin helps all circumcised men regardless of sexual
orientation. It is the hope that we can all undo the damage caused by
circumcision that has taken away so much from all of us.
